In Malawi, music is the heartbeat of worship. But as churches grow and visitors join local congregations, we saw a need to bridge the gap – between languages, communities, and generations. That’s why we created Tiyimbe (“Let’s Sing” in Chichewa), a bilingual worship songbook app designed to unite the Church through song.

Tiyimbe brings together Chichewa worship songs with clear English translations, making it easy for everyone – from lifelong church members to first-time visitors – to follow along, sing with confidence, and understand the message behind the music. It’s more than just lyrics; it’s a tool for connection, learning, and spiritual growth.

Built with the needs of Malawian churches in mind, Tiyimbe is available as a free app that works both online and offline. With smart search, personalized favorites, side-by-side lyrics, and audio playback, it transforms the traditional songbook into a dynamic experience anyone can access – whether in a village, city, or on the mission field.

Your Rights

As our app doesn’t collect any personal data, there is no personal information to access, modify, or delete. Your favorite songs are stored locally on your device and can be managed through the app’s interface.

All song data is bundled with the app and stored locally on your device. Your favorites list is also stored locally.

Tiyimbe is operated in Malawi and the United States. If you are located outside of these countries, please be aware that any information you provide will be stored locally on your device only.
